American Pickers star Danielle Colby announced major career news on social media as she teased an upcoming book.
On Tuesday, Nov. 4, the History Channel star, 49, took to Instagram with a photo of herself performing burlesque under the stage name Dannie Diesel.
“I’ve decided to sit deep in my anger about it all,” Colby captioned her cryptic update. “I’m trusting my gut, holding my heart but not my tongue. Not anymore. It’s time to speak on what actually happened.”
“Lord knows y’all took every opportunity to speak on my behalf. No more. Now I publish that book… Let’s Go! #idonotconsenttoyoutellingmystory,” she concluded, also tagging her husband, Jeremy Scheuch, as the one who took the photo.
In the comments, Colby’s followers flooded her with support and expressed their excitement over her writing a book.
One Instagram user declared, “Looking forward to hearing your story from you!👏👏👏🔥❤️.”
A different follower echoed, “The best stories are told by the people who lived them not by the people who didn’t. Excited to read yours one day soon 💗.”
Scheuch also popped into the comments, exclaiming, “I LOVE YOU AND APPRECIATE YOU EVERY F–KING DAY.”
Someone else wrote of the photo, “Stunningly Beautiful!! ❤️.”
Meanwhile, yet another Instagram user commented, “Dannie, I learned that if you don’t communicate your ideas, values, priorities, someone else will do it for you, and chances are they will not do it well regardless of how well intended they are. Also by communicating effectively you define your boundaries and if you don’t have well defined boundaries, others take license to cross to places not welcome. Publish it and I will read. Hugs to you and @jscheuch.”
Colby’s book news came amid an American Pickers hiatus as her co-star, Mike Wolfe, filmed for a new History Channel show.
