Steven McBee Jr. explains why his family is rebranding their podcast
Back in December, Steven announced he and his family were rebranding Meet the McBees following his father Steve McBee Sr.’s legal troubles. He said the podcast will now be known as More than McBee and will explore topics that go beyond the family’s TV show.
The McBee Brothers Share an Update on the Family Business: “Worst Day of the Year”
“In my opinion, with Meet the McBees, I don’t want to say it was an ego-driven podcast, but the entire reason we named it Meet the McBees was because we knew a lot of the traffic, a lot of the eyeballs that we were getting is because of The McBee Dynasty TV show, rightfully so,” he explained.
Steven said the new podcast will continue to feature family updates and recaps of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys, but listeners could expect broader conversations on a wide range of subjects.
“For me, I have so many passions outside those two things,” he added. “Yes, we’re going to recap episodes. Yes, we’re going to give you life updates in our world. It just gives us the opportunity to expand and have fresh, new, exciting content. And, candidly, it puts the focus more on the topics at hand rather than the McBees.”
