The Last Ride of Meet the McBees | Vegas, Family Updates & What’s Next in 2026

Hey y’all.
Welcome to Meet the McBes.

This is the very last episode as Meet the McBes.

We’re going to be talking about our Vegas trip.
We went out to NFR as a family this past week.

We’re also going to be giving you updates on dad,
how he’s doing,
give you our holiday plans,
and then my personal New Year’s resolutions,
as well as giving you some more insights into what the rebrand’s going to look like in the future.

So saddle up,
and let’s get down and dirty with it.

Well, here we are.
The very last episode as Meet the McBees.

We just got back from Vegas from NFR.
It was an incredible time out there, as always.

We love it so much.

We actually went out there and filmed for season three,
so it was a little bit different than our usual NFR experience.

You know, we got to stop by Cowboy Christmas,
got to go to the rodeo,
got to do some pretty neat things.

But we were on a pretty tight schedule.
It kept us pretty slammed,
and I’m looking forward to showcasing that in season three of the McB Dynasty.

There were a lot of fun events that happened out there at the NFR in Vegas,
and some other surprising events as well.

So stay tuned for that.

You know, NFR for me is probably my favorite trade show event of the entire year.

If you haven’t been to Cowboy Christmas,
it is absolutely incredible.

There are hundreds and hundreds of booths
showcasing western gear,
western merch,
just anything and everything in the western world.

And for anyone that isn’t even involved in rodeo or cowboying,
I highly suggest you go out to Vegas
and experience what it’s like whenever 30,000 cowboys descend upon the city
and take over the city for the weekend —
or actually for a couple weeks.

It is such a fun experience,
and I don’t think any of us left with money in our pockets.

In fact, Braden, Jesse, and Cole
spent a little too much time at the blackjack table,
and not a single one of them made it out positive.

Actually, I think on this trip
we went out there with a bunch of friends too.

I think there was a total of 10 or 11 of us,
and not a single person made out positive after the casinos.

Myself — I don’t gamble.

I never have gambled.
I don’t even know how to play blackjack.

Reason being
I lose money easy enough in business.
I don’t need to gamble to lose it even quicker.

So that is my line of thinking towards gambling.

For those of you that are good at it —
all the respect.

And yeah,
I just don’t have that lucky horseshoe in my pocket,
so I stay away from gambling.

I talked to dad actually a couple different times here over the last week.
He’s given us some calls.

He’s doing alright.

He’s made some friends up there at the prison camp.
He’s been working out.

He’s been trying to eat as healthy as he can
based on the limited options of food up there.

But he seems to be in a little better spirits.

And I really appreciate all of you
that are checking in
and leaving your messages of support for him.

I don’t have a mailing address yet.

I have gotten so many DMs about
where you can mail letters,
where you can send things to my dad.

I don’t have that yet.

I’m hoping to have that this week,
and whenever I do
I will post it across our social media platforms
so you guys get to see that
and have a chance to write him a letter.

I know it would mean the world to him
and would really pick him up at a time
where he’s feeling pretty down.

Obviously, given the circumstances.

He is allowed to email us once a day,
and we talk to him for about 15 minutes a day.

He only has one phone call generally
that he can make a day.

So he’ll change it up between
Jesse,
Cole,
Braden,
and myself.

But the last time I talked to him
would have been two days ago.

And he’s doing good.

For us here,
we’re just trying to get these businesses running straight.

Really focused in on the car washes,
trying to get them up and profitable across the board.

They are doing well,
and this is our busy season.

So knock on wood
we are able to get them consistently profitable through this winter.

That is ultimate goal number one
get the car washes self-sustaining.

And I think we’re going to do it by committee.

Like I talked about in the last podcast,
it’s going to take all of us.

But we’re going to get there.

Holiday plans.

For myself,
I am going to be spending quite a bit of time in Texas.

We have a break from filming.

We’re not going to be filming for two and a half weeks.

This is the longest break we have had in months.

It has been a grind.

Obviously filming is a full-time job whenever we are in season,
and then we also have our full-time jobs outside of filming.

And it is a tough schedule to balance.

Especially given the circumstances of this time period
with everything going on with my dad
and everything going on with the businesses.

We are in a pressure cooker
the likes of which I have never felt.

I’ve thought we’ve been in a pressure cooker the last three years.

Nothing has compared
to the last two months.

Nothing.

No time in my life
has compared to the last two months
of the pressure cooker we have been under.

So everyone’s running pretty ragged right now.

Everyone in the family —
their immune systems are compromised.

We’re all sick as dogs.

Just traveling from Vegas,
I think every single person picked up a sinus infection.

So we’re struggling right now.

This break is going to be well needed.

The holiday break is going to be really nice.

And I am going to do my best
to keep my phone put up
for the entirety of the break.

Unless someone is dying
or someone is in dire need of a phone call,
I do not plan on returning any calls or texts.

So I apologize
if you’ve reached out to me
and I haven’t responded.

Things have been a little bit busy around here.

So it’s a tall task to take on.

But it’s something that I felt going into season three.

Again, I’ve said it multiple times on this podcast.

When we got into the reality TV world,
the one thing we said we’d do
was showcase all of our life —

the good,
the bad,
and everything in between.

And I felt like it would be doing a disservice
to the people that support us,
to reality TV in general,
if we waited to film season three.

Because we had that option.

We could have waited
until the start of the new year.

But when I looked at our schedule,
knowing what dad was going through,
knowing what this fall was going to encompass —

selling our headquarters,
major business decisions,
everything happening at once —

all the action
was happening this fall.

And if we didn’t start filming until the new year,
everything would have been in the rear-view mirror.

And that wouldn’t have been authentic.

So we said —
bring it on.

We kept filming.

Because this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Not in a good way.

But it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

And it would have been a disservice
to the authenticity of our show
if we didn’t capture it.

So season three
is going to be a wild ride.

You guys will see our highest highs
with the grandbabies,

and some of the lowest lows
given the circumstances.

So saddle up
for season three.

If you haven’t had a chance yet to check out our newest sponsor, She Schaefer Outfitter, now is the time because we are coming up on outerwear season and that is what they do best.

Now depending on where you are, it may still be hot, and they’ve got great lightweight performance shirts and pearl snaps for exactly that.

And if you’re up north or on the coast, you know that brisk weather is just around the corner.

And Schaefer Outfitter has the perfect functional layers — vests, denim shirts, jeans, their signature coats and jackets, whatever you need.

It’s going to fit well, be comfortable, and perform like you expect it to.

This is high-quality apparel from a family-owned, authentic western brand.

Check them out at scheaferoutfitter.com and use code MCB for 15% off your first order.

We’ve been wearing Schaefer Outfitters since long before they were our sponsors.

In fact, I’ve had this vest for about five years now, and we’re excited to spread the word with our fans.

The feedback that we’ve gotten so far from folks that have tried them out is that the clothing was even nicer out of the box than what they expected from the website and the photos.

So give them a look.

Again, that’s code MCB during checkout for 15% off at scheaferoutfitter.com.

I don’t know if I’d say I’m excited for it.

I would just say that you will be getting an authentic front view — or a front-row seat — to our lives and what this period of time has encompassed, and it’s encompassed a lot.

So as far as what this podcast looks like moving forward, first of all, thank you so much for all of the comments regarding the rebrand.

I went through every single one.

I actually had our editor break them down into a Word document and send me every single comment we have had across all social media platforms so I could take the time and scan it.

And I read through it on the way back from Vegas.

There are so many good comments, so many supportive comments, and so many things that I didn’t realize that you guys valued.

To be honest, the amount of people that said “We love how you guys get up here and talk casually rather than have a structured podcast” — that was interesting to me.

Because for me, sitting up here rambling about our life events, I’ve always thought, “Okay, this has to be so freaking boring for anyone listening in or tuning into this.”

Like there has to be some sort of structure.

But hearing what you guys are saying in the comments about liking the fact that we’re up here talking so casually, I think there’s a balance that we can find.

A balance between a structured podcast that has recurring segments that you know what to expect and has a theme or a topic that we specifically focus in on.

And then also having a period of time throughout each podcast where we do just shoot from the hip.

Where we go casual conversation, talk about what’s happening around the farm, what’s happening in our personal lives, and really have no specific agenda in mind.

Just shooting from the hip, speaking from what’s in our hearts and what’s on our mind.

And again, that wouldn’t have happened — or that idea wouldn’t have been spurred — if it wasn’t for you guys commenting.

So thank you so much for that.

We are building out our new podcast studio.

And by our new podcast studio, I mean the basement of my house, which is unfinished.

That is where we’re going to be recording the studio.

It’s going to look a little different.

We already have the vision board in mind for what that studio will look like.

It’s going to be a lot more comfortable.

We’re going to have couches — you’re welcome, Cole.

And it’s going to have a lot more of a homey vibe than necessarily this studio with a table and us hunched over stools.

So I’m hoping that it will allow us to feel more comfortable.

Anyone we have on — including my brothers and my family — will hopefully feel more comfortable.

I would assume that’s going to take three to four weeks to build out.

So the next couple of podcasts might be from my living room couch.

In fact, they most likely will be from my living room couch.

It’s not going to be the prettiest of studios to begin with, but I promise you we will get there.

I am huge on aesthetics, so I want a studio that looks good.

So it’s going to bother me that the first podcast of More Than McB is going to be done from a couch in a non-studio version.

But we’ll see how it turns out.

I think it’ll end up being alright.

I’m excited for it.

Ally and I have already started putting together topics for what we’re going to launch More Than McB about.

And I think the very first podcast we’re going to go over, we’re going to dive into Ally and I’s connection and how we have bonded on a much deeper level than just physical attraction.

Obviously physical attraction is there, but there is so much more depth to what led to the success of our relationship and how things have been going so far.

And I believe that is going to be what we cover in More Than McB.

So I’m excited to hop on with her.

Y’all will get to see her expanding in long-form.

She’s never done any podcasts other than the one we did in Vegas with Like a Farmer, which will be released I believe in early to mid-January.

That was her first podcast.

So what you see on her social media is short-form content with hardly any speaking whatsoever.

And I’m excited to be able to showcase to the world how intelligent she is and how well-spoken she is.

She’s going to blow me out of the water when it comes to intelligence and being well-versed in public speaking.

I trip all over myself.

I use “um” and “you know” non-stop.

And she can talk for hours and hours on end without ever breaking stride and without ever using a filler word.

So yeah, I’m excited about it.

And y’all will get to see how well our chemistry is together and really what made us hit it off so quickly.

I know that we have moved so fast in our relationship, and I’ve seen some comments about how this one must just be for the show or must be for social media or that I am love-bombing.

I hate that term, by the way.

In my opinion that is a BS made-up term.

What do you mean that you’re nice to someone to begin a relationship and yet that’s considered love-bombing?

No.

How about that’s just being a good person?

And yeah, I don’t know.

I feel like there are a lot of people out there today that label someone as a love bomber and say that it’s some sort of tactic.

Maybe for a very small percentage of people that are complete narcissists.

But for other people, that’s just being a good person and being excited about a fresh relationship.

Obviously there is a honeymoon period and things are not always going to be rainbows and butterflies in a relationship like they generally are in the beginning.

But I hate the term love-bombing.

So please refrain from using that in any comments regarding mine and Ally’s relationship.

I can assure you that is not the case.

And if anything, we started off our relationship literally from day one filming reality TV.

You want to talk about putting strain and stress on a relationship that very few people understand?

Filming a reality show means you’re talking about the worst problems in and around your life over and over and over again.

So to put that at the start of a relationship and still be able to have a strong connection and continue to build that connection while filming reality TV — that is not love-bombing.

That is a relationship built on solid communication and very good chemistry.

So apologize for that rant there.

Anyways, I’m excited.

I hope you all have a great holiday season.

We’ll be seeing you soon again.

It won’t be the new studio just yet, but I’m hoping to have that done soon.

I’ll be excited to not be by myself on here for the next podcast.

Excited for y’all to tune in to More Than McB.

And we’ll see you right after the holidays.

Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year.
