‘American Pickers’ Danielle Colby Sizzles in Risqué Burlesque Practice Video

She implored fans to ‘remember that dance is resistance’ as she showed off her talent.

American Pickers star Danielle Colby gave fans a glimpse at her burlesque stage performance ahead of the highly anticipated opening of her Ecdysiast Arts Museum in Davenport, Iowa.

On June 13, Colby shared a short clip on Instagram of herself in a gorgeous and extravagant burlesque costume featuring a sequined corset bodice, a sheer gauzy outside layer and a detailed headpiece. She also used a large feathered prop at the start of the dance.

“A little bit of practice before heading to Detroit to perform with the magical cast at @tiptopdetroit tomorrow on June 14. I’m so excited to see you all again in Pure Michigan,” she wrote in the caption, highlighting an exciting event that she’s performing at on Saturday.

She went on, sharing an important message as she said, “Please remember that dance is resistance. Creating joy in these times is not only healthy, it’s imperative. We need joy makers! It’s especially necessary that we stay rooted in celebration as we manifest positive changes in the world. I definitely want to see more dance, joy and celebration as the world keeps on worlding.”

“How do you hold on to your joy and celebrate your life through trying times? Dance and movement have always been my go to,” Colby concluded.

Colby is also keeping fans up to date on the progress at her Ecdysiast Arts Museum ahead of its grand opening on June 21.
