American Pickers star Danielle Colby welcomed a “new member” to her family as she revealed stunning jewelry added to her Ecdysiast Arts Museum.

On Sunday, Oct. 12, the History Channel star, 49, took to Instagram with a video that turned heads.

In her detailed description, Colby explained that Carvalho was a “famous soprano married [to] Leon Carvalho, who was director of the opera de comique in Paris. She had a collection of the most beautiful costumes, she herself played many roles and she composed many.”

The history fanatic continued, “The set has an extraordinary bra, belt, arm and leg cuffs, which are very very rare! The costume is in more than perfect condition; it probably must have cost [a lot of] money at that time. I have seen the bra from Mata Hari, which has same pattern of golden brass. The complete set is one of the most rare ones and survived time so very well.”

To conclude the update, Colby shared that the costume would be on display for a “sneak peek” at the Ecdysiast Arts Museum in Davenport, Iowa, on Oct. 25.

Folks in the comments marveled over the stunning, bejeweled costume, with one Instagram user writing, “How gorgeous!!😍.”

Another follower shared, “😱😲 Wooooow!!! 🤩😍🤤.”

Someone else echoed, “How amazing!!”

Meanwhile, yet another Instagram user commented, “So exciting! 🔥.”

In April, Colby made a huge career announcement that she was opening a museum dedicated to stripping history, the Ecdysiast Arts Museum. She has continued to post photos of herself and others rocking burlesque costumes before and after the grand opening.

In May, Colby put on a busy display in a spicy burlesque costume. In July, Colby showed off her ample assets in a costume that dropped jaws. She also put on a cheeky display in a different, bold look.

“We are welcoming a fabulous new member of the Ecdysiast Arts Museum costume family! ” Colby captioned her update. “We will be exhibiting a complete original set from Marie Caroline Carvalho from France.”
