However, Mike Wolfe, Fritz’s longtime friend and fellow American Pickers host, confirmed publicly that Fritz would not be returning to the show. Wolfe stated that Frank was “going through a lot,” specifically referring to his addiction issues.

Danielle Colby also weighed in on the situation, expressing disappointment but standing by Wolfe’s decision. In a comment shared on her Instagram, she wrote that she “wished things could have been different,” but emphasized that people need to be held “accountable for their actions.” Her words added to growing confirmation that Fritz’s departure was related, at least in part, to his personal struggles.
